[My Diary]2009 November 4 17:41
Well what's today been like, was nice just to take the day as it came, and was good to catch up with some of theam well waiting for the flight this morning.
made a little fool of myself when ariving in Napier, but got to move on and it was more a dent on the pride and the kneecap than anything else. It was amazing to find that such a nice coastline is so close to the airport. I was hoping to update Twitter during the day but due to my misshap I think the old phone is buggered. The sun was out and there was a nice breeze.Ended up walking into town, bloody he'll you know when I'm on holiday I have to get out of that habbit. I'll post the images of the day latter and see what I come up with. You know one of the things I love about flying, is the joy of seeing other parts of our wonderful country and meeting people. As we wing our way on return to Wellington I try to keep my eye out the window but there is quite a cloud base at the moment and aghhhhhh it's bright. Have to admit shameless plug time but thank you to the teams from @flyairnz that I met during the day, you made it a great one for me and also renewed my pride in our airline. Oh got to have the white hard boiled sweet both ways got to love that one. Lunch time saw me enjoying some fish and chips made and caught by locals which was wonderful but bugger was only washed down with a coke.,
Next time it will have to be a local brew. I'll try and sort out the phone problems so next time I can let you know what's happening.
If you ever get a chance to get to Napier get out around the city and just enjoy the food and history, maybe I should stop this whole same day thing but to tell you the truth I like my own bed. The under laying reason to is that it is cheaper and I'm trying to be serious about my little house.
The dollars are coming together and I know I'll get there just got to not give up I guess. Now napier down, Auckland,Christchurch and Westport latter in the month but will have to see how things go I just have a Lot to fall into place regards photos and I hope I'm not putting to much into it but I am happy I have been given the chance. Oh looking to get photos of the Santa show and of course the fireworks..... On finals so got to stop for now.
